Four Records from One Allegan Arrest

When the sources conflict, use the newest filed court disposition for the case outcome. For the underlying police narrative, ask the arresting agency. For present location, use the jail or corrections system that currently holds the person.
Booking Logs and Recent Arrests
The county’s Inmate Lookup is the proper online route for current Allegan County custody, but it is not documented as a historical arrest archive. Absence from a current roster proves little about past arrest history. A person may have been released, transferred, booked under a spelling variation, or never entered the county jail. A city police arrest can also create a city report even when no current county custody entry remains. Use a report request and court search for historical confirmation.
When Allegan Custody Moves to MDOC
County jail custody and state prison or supervision are separate. The official Michigan Department of Corrections OTIS search covers qualifying MDOC prisoners, parolees, and probationers rather than all Allegan County arrests.
